This simple and so delicious little treat, has become my new addiction. It is also very versatile, in that you can use many different items instead of chocolate chips.
1 1/2 cups Almond Butter, Cashew, Peanut or any other you may like
1/4 cup Maple syrup or Agave
1/2 teaspoon Vanilla
1/2 teaspoon Almond extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 scoop plant-based Protein Powder I use Vanilla or Chocolate flavored
1/2 cup dairy-free Chocolate chips
Mix all ingredients together and chill until firm. Spoon drop onto lined and lightly oiled cookie pan. I like to make small uniform balls and arrange on tray. Then press my thumb into the middle making a slight well in the middle. Bake at 350 degrees for 7 minutes. 5 minutes if you want to do my trick and add additional chocolate chips into the depression and bake an additional 2 minutes.
